Video Music Analysis

“Telephone”

                    

        Oh yes! That’s right! It’s Gaga on the “Telephone” (ft. Beyoncé!). This video as a whole is a mouth full, loaded with issues on gender, gender roles, sex, performance, sexuality, artistic borrowing, notes on status, and comments on class and subculture. There really is enough content here to fill a book, for this paper I will focus in on gender, and gender roles.

             Work that I did for my digital class exploring design layout, finding a graphic standard and and some fun with type play. Look out for a small shout out to one of my favorite graphic designers and some more digital work after the jump.

Very Different and very visually interesting layouts,drawings, graphics, and branding ideas that catch my eye in prep for a class of digital visual communication. Also a possible lead to an online zine that I'd like to start with collaboration and input from some very talented friends, keep an eye out!
